Why Camp?
Why We Do Chapter Camp
Chapter Camp is about getting away—stepping out of the noise, schedules, and distractions of everyday life so we can slow down and breathe. It’s a chance to rest, reset, and make space to connect with God in deeper, more intentional ways.
It’s also one of the best ways to start the summer—building and deepening friendships, sharing life together, and discovering what God might want to grow in us over the months ahead. When we leave campus and go together, something shifts: faith becomes personal, community becomes real, and summer starts with purpose.

Welcome to Green Lake
Green Lake Conference Center has been a gathering place for renewal, learning, and spiritual growth for generations. Nestled along the shores of Green Lake in the heart of Wisconsin, it offers space to step away from the noise, breathe deeply, and engage fully — with God, with others, and with what matters most.
Surrounded by water, trees, and wide-open skies, it’s a setting that invites you to slow down and be present. Whether you’re walking the lakeshore at sunrise, worshiping in the chapel, or sharing meaningful conversations on a bench overlooking the water, the environment itself seems to create room for reflection and deeper faith.
It’s the kind of place where conversations go deeper, laughter comes easier, and God often meets people in powerful and personal ways — moments that stay with you long after you head home.

Recreation
Free time isn’t filler—it’s fuel.
We build recreation into the schedule because camp is meant to be lived, not just attended. Whether it’s the lake, the field, the court, the trails, or late-night laughs with friends, these moments matter. Joy, play, competition, and rest are part of how we experience God and build real community.
Some of the best conversations won’t happen in a session—they’ll happen on a dock, during a game, or walking back to your cabin. Free time gives space for friendships to deepen, walls to come down, and faith to become personal.
Camp should feel alive. And that includes running, resting, laughing, and making memories you’ll still be talking about months from now.
